AI Transparency

Why this page exists
The EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) requires, from 2 August 2026, that AI-generated or AI-manipulated text published to inform the public is disclosed as such unless it has been through human review and a person or organisation holds editorial responsibility for it (Article 50(4)). The UK has no equivalent statute yet, but the same disclosure is simply honest. This page explains how Saaskly uses AI, and who is responsible for what you read.
How we use AI
- Research assistance. We use AI tools (including Anthropic's Claude) to gather and organise publicly available information about products — pricing pages, documentation, Trustpilot data, independent press — and to summarise it for our editors. Every figure that matters is sourced and linked; where a figure could not be verified we say "unconfirmed" or "not published".
- Drafting. First drafts of product profiles and comparison articles are produced with AI assistance from our research and from our own testing notes.
- Structure and code. AI helps us build and maintain the site itself.
What AI does not do
- It does not decide rankings or scores. Every score, ranking, "winner" and first-party verdict is set by a named person at Next Generation ICT LTD, based on our own testing and judgement. Where an AI-assisted draft proposed a ranking, our editor changed it whenever it disagreed with our experience — and it often did.
- It does not invent experience. Statements phrased as "our direct experience" or "we run this in production" are written from human, first-hand use. AI-researched material is labelled as third-party or vendor data.
- It does not run unreviewed. Every page is reviewed and approved by a human editor before publication, and that editor is responsible for it under our Editorial Policy.
- It does not generate fake reviews, testimonials or images of people. We do not use AI-generated imagery presented as real, and we do not create synthetic customer opinions.

Labelling
